This sunday we all went to Sunday school at our partner church.
after lunch we meet up with Pastor Diego and Brother Thomas and headed for Panabaj.
While in Panabaj we meet Elias aka-Rambo. We know Elias from our summer'09 mission and last February. He is a survivor from the mudslide in 2005. Almost every bone in his body was broken and he has scares all over his body to prove it. He earned the name Rambo from his ability to be indestructable in this event. He is one of the sponsored children from Panabaj that go to the school in Santiago. He has a contagious smile and has become a leader among his peers.

Their are still broken and desperate lives in Panabaj
Please keep them in your prayers.

  1. I can barely read the posts and see the pictures - everything comes flooding back like we were just there yesterday. Embrace these people with love - love the kids like they were your own. Our virtue in JAM this month is kindness - yesterday we drove home "love everyone like they belong to God!" this is my prayer for you all - keep posting and Cesar, the video was great! Keep those coming!!

  2. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the pictures and the video was AWESOME too! Thank you so much for anything you can share. It feels like I am there with you. I think because I want to be so badly. But know that I am praying for the team constantly and for the people you are coming into contact with daily. Looking forward to the next post!

  3. Enjoying the posts. Barrett please pass on a hello to Gloria for me as well as to Pastor Diego. I will continue to pray for the team and the people you are serving. Peace to you.
